Home of the Hollywood movie stars and Pop Icons, this beautiful area has some of the most sought after Tavernas, as it looks onto the Island of SPINNALONGA, a former leper colony, this is a huge attraction for visitors to Crete.

If you are looking for some nightlife.

MALIA
Is the place for you, many bars and nightclubs are available, but MALIA has another side to it where the old town has the original Cretan feel,  it is around 10 minutes drive from Sissi.

If you are feeling adventurous, then why not drive up the mountains to the famous LASITHI PLAIN, or visit the Venetian harbours of RHYTHEMENON and CHANIA.

You may wish to visit the war graves at SOUDA BAY (Allies) and MALEME (German) both very touching locations.
